Martina Walther ist Illustratorin, Bilderbuchmacherin und Mitbegründerin von edition cucuc. Sie lebt und arbeitet abwechselnd am Ende eines Dorfes im Emmental und mitten in der Stadt Luzern. Sie entwirft und setzt Illustrationen für gestalterische, soziale, politische, kulinarische und kulturelle Organisationen und Unternehmen. Martina Walthers lllustrationen werden als Plakate, in Magazinen und Büchern publiziert. Sie arbeitet mit Verlagen, für Kunden und Grafikstudios und verfolgt häufig selbstinitiierte, längere Buchprojekte. Unter dem Label tigre y yo entstehen ihre Keramikarbeiten. Martina Walther is an illustrator, picture book maker and co-founder of edition cucuc. She lives and works alternately at the end of a village in the Emmental and in the centre of the city of Lucerne. She designs and creates illustrations for creative, social, political, culinary and cultural organisations and companies. Martina Walther’s illustrations are published as posters, in magazines and books. She works with publishers, for clients and graphic studios and often pursues self-initiated, longer book projects.
